Feeling Sorry For Yourself: Your Number One Block...And How To Remove It

So, how are you feeling about yourself, right now, in
this moment?

Wasted complaining, wasted blaming, denial, and a sense of victimhood serve only to keep you from experiencing the joy and happiness you claim you want. But get this: the more difficult it is to let go of these things, the more probable it is that they are both serving and controlling you in some unconscious, perhaps masochistic, way.

Do you want to know how to really attract what you want into your life? Here goes:

Dare something worthy. Get out of your small self and into the world. It's not doubt that keeps the prosperity and abundance away; it's self pity. And when the self pity begins to subside, to recede, you'll notice abundance all around you. And it's been there the whole time.

There's a saying: Take your mind off your problems and put it on others. It takes practice. Bad habits are not easy to break. But it's worth it. You can only benefit. And so will the rest of us.

  • First, decide to make yourself available. It's about choice.
  • Second, remain open to opportunities to serve.
  • Third, always remember that everything returns to you.

Ultimately, when you give, when you share, you're giving to yourself. Your life is blessed. Go share it with the world.

"Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, vision cleared, ambition inspired, and success achieved." Helen Keller, 1880-1968
