Silvercrest Portland Health Fair - Serving the World, and Loving It!

This was Silvercrest-Portland's health fair day. Several

vendors, including Comcast and Rite Aid showed off their wares. As the Ride Connection ambassador, I was there to help folks understand Portland's magnificent transportation system, including light rail, street car, and modern bus service. (New light rail Orange Line to suburbs opening in Sept 2015.)

Silvercrest is a low income housing community, serving seniors over 62. It's a Salvation Army property.

Remember The Fallen And Those Who Returned - Memorial Day 2015

Today we remember those who have fallen in battle to preserve what we like to call freedom and democracy in the USA.

My wish today it that the Powers That Be become more willing to help those who have returned as much as they are willing to send them to war in the first place. 

Make our Vets the top priority, America. You wouldn't exist without them.
