We seek to be part of the crowd, not to stand out. We want to be like everyone else.
We fail to understand that only in our uniqueness, our individuality, are we the same as everyone else.
Yes. The only real way to be like everyone else is to be as unique as possible. To express your talents and gifts. To be what you can be, do what you can do, to the best of your abilities and capacities.
You will stand out from the crowd, to be sure. But it's a crowd made up of very distinct souls.
