Love, Creativity, and YOU! A Simple Way to Real Joy

By Richard Kent Matthews - Coach | Author | Speaker

"The greatest use of life is to spend it for
something that will outlast it."
William James

Simple, to the point: The quickest ways to the creative and joyous life…

Release regret. Throw guilt into the fire! It serves neither you nor the world. No matter what your mother, teacher, or your church said...or says.

Never be needy. You really don't want to cling or grasp or demand attention—surefire ways to nip creativity and joy in the bud! Self respect demands the end of such annoying habits. And they are indeed annoying. Ask anyone!

Live generously. Everyone wins, including and especially you! And as you already know, what goes around, comes around. Generosity is a superbly strong energy.

These creative practices take your decision first, plus practice, add courage. A great recipe for the creative life. The generous life. The joy and love filled life.

After all, that's really what you want most. Right?

A special exercise, if you choose to participate:
Carry five pennies with you at all times. Every time you do something generous, no matter how seemly small or insignificant, take a penny from one place on your person and place it in another. Make it a game. See how many pennies you've moved during the course of your day. If you move all five, add two more tomorrow. Eventually, generosity will become your way of life, a very good habit. And miracles occur.

The main point of the exercise is to help you to establish a consciousness of generosity. The more of us who live from a generous place, the better off the world will be.

You can be the change (no pun!) you want to see in the world.
