How to Receive Your Abundance By Not Blocking the Way

By Richard Kent Matthews - Coach | Author | Speaker

Abundance in view!

“Courage is the capacity to confront what can be imagined.”
Leo Rosten

Abundance: A state of mind in which you are intrinsically creative. You are inherently confident that your basic needs are, and will be, met. Your inner worth is independent of your outer possessions. You recognize that the universe is abundant. You know you are an expression of Spirit.*

How to receive:

  • Commit to the abundance mindset.
  • Accept that change is necessary for anything new to enter your life.
  • Take time to reflect on what you already possess materially, physically, emotionally, spiritually.
The process:

Become a selfish giver.** Gratitude is not just a feeling; it’s a practice. On a daily basis, take an inventory of your life. Even if you’re going through a rough period, recognize the blessings you have been given.

Clean the clutter from your life. Clean your car, your closets, attic, basement, drawers, etc. and recycle all that material to the benefit of others.

Give something to someone every day. Why? This is a practice. It creates a mindset and an energy. Ultimately, it becomes a habit. And so does the Return!

The guarantee:

You can't out-give the universe. So, expect a return. Look for it; even set it up (Use mental rehearsal). The more you receive, the more you will be convinced of the benevolence of Spirit. And you can turn around and share again.

Open your mind to a continual cycle of giving and receiving and watch the flow. Your whole spiritual journey will be empowered. You will begin to find a sense of peace. And that peace will make a big dent in the AWA, the Angry World Attitude.

“The moment you commit and quit holding back, all sorts of unforeseen incidents, meetings, and material assistance will rise up to help you. The simple act of commitment is a powerful magnet for help.”
Napoleon Hill

Overcoming the REAL Devil: How to Be the Master of Your Life

By Richard Kent Matthews - Coach | Author | Speaker

“There is only one time when it is essential to
awaken. That time is now.”
The Buddha

Observation is simple. Not easy, necessarily, but simple.

When you don’t pay attention, you can miss out on many your work, your relationships, your chances to be of service, to help change the world, and to enhance your personal journey.

Seeing beyond the obvious takes practice. And it takes commitment. There is a major payoff, but you must be willing to see it.

The Story:

Is there a devil? Lucifer? Satan? Beelzebub? According the traditionalists, there is. It seems Satan was God’s right hand man. He got too big for his red britches, got kicked out of heaven (along with those bad angels who followed him), and, in retaliation, tempted God’s new creatures, the Humans, in the Garden of Eden. He got them kicked out of the Garden for disobedience—Original Sin—and became the Ruler of Hell. In his anger, he made it clear that he would do his best to take as many people to hell with him as he could.

According to the story, he’s still at it. If you look, you can see his dealings, right?

The Lesson:

So, is there really a devil? Yes, but he is not the devil of myth and legend like Lucifer. He is much more cunning, clever, and sinister than Satan. He lives at the edges of your awareness. He knows how to keep you in fear, depression, anger, and confusion. He acts like he’s your best friend. He may be. He is indeed God’s right hand man, so to speak. He is what provides you with your power to choose. He is Free Will—both a gift and a curse.

Your job, then, is to learn how to use the gift and tame the curse. You have to watch him closely. Here’s how:

The Practice:

Do no harm, help where you can. Simple, yes. Easy? Hardly. To practice this with expertise is called Enlightenment, Awakening, the Kingdom Within. But the journey is worth it.

Here’s the Challenge: Listen. Truly listen. It is one of the greatest gifts you can give. It serves the other and it serves you. Learning to listen with heart and mind is the first step to awakening. If you elect to take the Challenge, your work is cut out for you. And the dividends are beyond your present imagination! Guaranteed.

“Perhaps the most valuable result of all education is the ability to make yourself do the thing you have to do, when it ought to be done, whether you like it or not.”
Thomas Huxley
