As You Think: The Principles

'You are what you think...'

"It is one of the most beautiful compensations of
the life that no man can sincerely try to help
another without helping himself."
Ralph Waldo Emerson

(Emerson wrote in the early to mid 19th century so we must forgive his use of the male gender. I know he includes women in this quote as well.)

Guiding Principles of This Blog...and Me
  • To provide a place of spiritual nourishment for the independent seeker.
  • To help those who are struggling with old, scary traditional religious pasts to come to terms with them.
  • To teach and share progressive spiritual principles:
  1. There is One Power, One Presence, One Life, creator and sustainer of All That Is.
  2. That Life is our Life now.
  3. There is no separation; everything is interconnected.
  4. All is perfect in its seeming imperfection.
  5. There is no eternal punishment or reward. Consciousness itself is eternal.
  6. Life is good right here, right now. It’s a matter of how we choose to experience it.
  7. You can create your own miracles. They are not supernatural.
  8. You can create the life you want as long as you are willing to take full responsibility for your creations.
  • The practice of compassion is my number one goal. “Do the least harm and the most good.”
  • Giving and receiving are one principle. Everything returns to you in full measure.
  • Each person is free to choose his/her own path as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone else.
  • Love is the Only Reality.
Mission Statement:

To help you become your best so you can share your best with the world.
